Job Title: Project Site Manager, CCGT Gas Fired Power Project
Job description
This is your opportunity to join this greenfields project based in Nigeria, you will gain the opportunity of working as an Expatriate for the Mechanical Subcontractor tasked with erecting 2 large gas turbine units and BOP.
This well established Mechnaical contractor is focussed on the erection of mechanical, piping and structural steel components of Oil & Gas infrastructure and gas turbine projects. Their focus is on West Africa where due to massive power deficits local communities and business benefit massively from successfull construction of power generation infrastructure and the resulting jobs they bring.
Responsibilities
This person will be tasked with coordinating site site activities, work planning, resource deployment and project schedule maintenance ensuring key milestones are met. Furthermore a key facet will be the managment on the client and main-contractor relationships. It is critical that their respect is earned.
You will be the organisations eyes and ears on the ground ensuring that head office executives are updated on the project progress ensuring effective progress reporting.
Requirements
You will need extensive CCGT / OCGT experience with specific project site management experience preferably in developing countries. As this is overseeing the mechanical installation and erection a mechanical qualification with large turbine experience being critical to your successfull application. Experience on large turbines of 80mw+ will be necessary to your successful application
Remuneration
This will be completely flexible depending on experience, rotation and benefits will be tailored to your situation. This will be a 12 month contract and exoatriate benefits will be supplied.
