Job Description
- Our client is seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented Business Development and Sales Specialist. Are you ready to drive growth and profits for a leading and global satellite ISP as a Head of Business Development and Sales?
- You will have the opportunity to lead the charge in prospect sales, creating and nurturing valuable business relationships while executing strategic initiatives to ensure the company’s future success.
Responsibilities
- Being able to build a long-range pipeline and manage multiple contracts to their end date
- Play a key part in identifying B2B opportunities for the business going forward
- Managing these opportunities through the sales cycle and post-sale care
- Developing and maintaining B2B effective relationships and creating new relationships for the business with the primary goal of increasing the client’s B2B market share and recognition of the business
- Negotiating current contracts and securing new contracts with business customers and third-party intermediaries
- Promoting the company’s existing brands and introducing new products and services to the market.
- Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company’s marketing goals.
- Gathering, investigating, analyzing, and summarizing market data and trends to prepare reports and develop insights and strategies for business growth.
- Implementing new sales plans and advertising.
- Maintaining relationships with clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
- Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks.
- Collaborating with the team to create marketing campaigns and promotional materials and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiating and closing deals with clients and liaising with third-party marketing agencies to drive business growth.
- Providing regular reports on business development activities and progress.
Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Marketing / Economics or any related course.
- At least 5 years experience doing Business Development Sales for an internet service provider company
- Applicants must reside in Ajah or Lekki, Lagos axis. Applicants outside these locations
- 7- 10 years of account management/business development experience
- Sales experience
- Lead generation experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Enthusiastic about meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Cross-functional skills to collaborate with different teams and departments.
- Availability to immediately resume is an added advantage.
