Job Title: Registrar
Location: Niger
Duties
- The Registrar is a Principal Officer and is responsible to the Rector for the day-today general administration of the Polytechnic Serves as the Secretary to the Governing Council, Academic Board and other statutory committees, and shall perform such other duties as the Council or Rector may assign him/her from time to time.
Qualifications and Experience
- The right candidate for the job must possess a good Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least fifteen (15) years of cognate experience, or a Masters degree with thirteen (13) years cognate experience or a doctorate degree with eleven (11) years cognate experience, plus registration with relevant professional body He/she must have served as Deputy Registrar for not less than five (5) years.
- The candidate should not be older than 60 years upon appointment and must be of good health, demonstrate versatility in the management of staff and students.
- The preferred candidate must show verifiable evidence of consummate management and leadership positions. He/she should possess excellent communication skills and interpersonal relations, and be ready to work in a team.
- In addition, the candidate must have adequate competence in the use of computer.
Tenure/Conditions of Service
The appointment is for a period of five (5) years in the first instance and may be renewed for a further period of five (5) year and no more. Conditions of Service are as applicable in all other Federal Polytechnics in Nigeria. CONTEDISS 15 (N5,407,503.00)
Job Title: Bursar
Location: Niger
Duties
- The Bursar is a Principal Officer of the Polytechnic. He heads the Bursary Department as the custodian of the Polytechnic finance.
- Plans, organizes directs, and coordinates the operation of the financial system of the Polytechnic and he is responsible to the Rector for the day-to-day financial operation of the Polytechnic.
Qualifications and Experience
- A good honour’s degree or HND in Accountancy or Finance from a recognized Institution of higher learning, plus at least fifteen (15) years of cognate experience, in addition to registration with any recognized professional Accounting body ICAN, ACCA; or CNA. Post qualification experience of not less than five (5) years as a Deputy Bursar/Chief Accountant is required.
- The candidate should not be older than 60 years upon appointment and must be of goad health, demonstrate versatility in leadership and management of staff and students In addition, the candidate must have adequate competence in the use of computer
