Physical appearance at job interviews speak volume of the smartness of the job applicant to the employer/interviewer and should be taken seriously.
There is a saying that the way you are dressed is the way you will be addressed. On this note, this is a list of features you shouldn’t include in your physical appearance when going for a job interview:
1. Loud Makeup
Its very good to makeup. Makeup makes you look bright and smart. Excess of every thing is bad, I have seen a lady wearing smoochy eye makeup to an interview, some draw their eyebrows like the underworld. Tone down on your makeup, keep it simple and natural.
2. Obvious Bras
Ladies Please be careful. Showing off your bra hand is not a fashion. Always wear a Unclad bra under business attire because they rarely ever show.
3. Obvious Panties
The most important thing is to purchase panties that fit! Make sure they are not too tight, or else they will dig in to your skin and cause unsightly panty lines. At the same time, if you choose underwear that is too loose, it can easily wrinkle up inside your clothes, showing wrinkles and bumps
4. Hats
Avoid hearing hat to interview, It either distracts the interviewer or prevents the two of you from making eye contact.
5. Uncomfortable Clothes
Better to wear an outfit that is tailored to suit you, rather than anything that feels or looks too tight or too short. Wearing short skirts and dresses that will give you a hard time sitting give a wrong impression of you.
6. Jeans
Jeans are casual wear. It can only be won on Fridays to work, so why wear it for an interview? it dosn’t make sense at all. They are casual and comfortable but not professional.
7. Colours
Mind what the colours you chose . shouty colours is not for interview, you can reserve it for party. I will advice you stick with the basic, a black, blue or grey suit.
