Job description
Wartsila Marine and Power Services Nigeria Limited, a global leader in complete lifecycle power solutions for the Marine and Energy Markets is seeking to recruit dynamic and creative thinkers with a passion for high-performance and professionalism to fill the positions of Field Service Mechanical Engineers.
Position description
Provide engine and related auxiliaries service such as maintenance, overhaul, troubleshooting and repair.
-To provide field service/survey assistance as directed
-To perform workshop service as directed
-To perform repair works as directed
-To support service engineers as required
Responsibilities
-Independently execute Field Service activities such as overhaul, repair and trouble shooting.
-Identify failures, making adjustments, doing trial runs and testing of complete installations according to instructions.
-Check and adjust relevant auxiliary systems.
-Provide internal and external work reports according to Wartsila standards.
-Collect and organize time and expense reports. Reporting and informing administrative personnel as required.
-Perform pre-commissioning and start-ups of Wartsila engines.
-Promote Wartsila Products and Services
