Job Title: University Librarian

Location: Abuja
Department: Library

Qualification and Requirements

• Candidates must possess at least a Ph.D. or Master’s degree in library Science or Information Science from a recognized University, with fifteen (15) years cognate experience and evidence of scholarly publications in both national and international reputable journals.
• Membership of the Librarian Registration Council of Nigeria as well as the Nigerian Library Association is also required.
• The applicant must qualify for the rank of Professor or University Librarian. A Law Degree will be an added advantage.
• Candidates must possess an NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate or Certificate of Exemption where applicable.
• Candidates who are awaiting results may not be considered and need not apply.
• Computer literacy is required for all officer cadres and above.

Job Title: Deputy University Librarian

Location: Abuja
Department: Library

Qualification and Requirements

• Candidates should possess at least a Ph.D. or Master degree in Library or Information Science from a recognized University, with twelve (12) years cognate experience with evidence of scholarly publications in both national and international reputable learned journals.
• Membership of the Librarian Registration Council of Nigeria is also required.
• Also Deputy librarians (With significant management experience) must have Master’s degree in library Science or Information Science with a minimum of fifteen (15) years post professional qualification and cognate experience, seven (7) years of which must have been spent in a University or similar Institution.
• A Law Degree will be an added advantage.
• Candidates must possess an NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate or Certificate of Exemption where applicable.
• Candidates who are awaiting results may not be considered and need not apply.
• Computer literacy is required for all officer cadres and above.
