Specification
- Deliver marketing campaigns/promos to your subsidiary where they are developed from the center
- Evaluate opportunities for partnerships
- Ensure Brand Audit visitation to all business offices in-country in maintaining good quality and guiding against brand erosion of all brand collaterals.
- Assist with events planning/management to ensure maximum opportunity for communications in the relevant country and across regional geographies
- Use of subscribers on our social media platforms within the media networking context to engaging in regular research and maintaining good relationships
- Ensure effective product advertising and assist in designing communication plans for launching of new products and services.
- Maintain a good understanding of regional and industry trends.
- Ensure a strong and reliable working relations with other MCC Leads across Africa on regular basis in developing marketing collaterals
- Ensure proper regular and effective communications on all social media platforms
- Manage website content and update information on website regularly to keep it fresh
- Manage relationships with Media network
- Promote products effectively on digital and traditional channels
- Ensure zero negative publicity for the brand
- Promote REDTV as a tool to getting alignment of the millenials. Scout for local and original REDTV content
- Engage/appoint Hotshop/Agency to assist with Creative, content production and creative designs of promos based on institutionalized protocol empowerment document
- Conduct industry analysis
- Coordinate product marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility
- Ensure monthly country Newsletters/Digests as well as Reports are published timely and uploaded unto the intranet within the internal communications focus
- Collate and analyze media coverage
- Organize and manage corporate events
- Manage and monitor engagements on social media sites with the appropriate tools such as the Meltwater
- Vet all external communications to ensure conformity with Group Brand profile and standards (Look & Feel) across board.
- Design effective Internal communications strategy to galvanise staff and keep them constantly informed about events, products and other activities
Requirements Education
- Minimum of First degree, preferably in Public Relations, Journalism,Communication or Marketing
- Additional qualifications -MSc/MBA/Professional certifications is required
Required Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years in a public relationship management role.
- Demonstrated competence in the design and execution of marketing, and PR activities
Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of the bank’s policies, products and services.
- Full understanding of media needs and media relationships.
- Working knowledge of E-Media channels, Communication/awareness strategy
- Strategic Customer Service.
- Able to utilize the internet for information gathering and broadcasting.
- Familiar with the use of the leading social networks tools.
