Job Title: Transmission Engineer (BTS, MW & Fiber Node)

Location: Rivers
Grade: Sr. Engineer
Workplace: Largely External / Field based.
Ready to work in night on network emergency

Qualifications

• HND /Graduate with successful NYSC completion.
• Graduation in field of telecom will be preferred.
• Work Experience – Candidate with more than 3 year experience in
  telecom domain on BTS & MW link configuration, operations, and
  troubleshooting etc.
• Good exposure in telecom technologies like GSM, CDMA, Wi-MAX, LTE.
• Working knowledge in BTS & MW configuration & routine operations.
• To supervise routine operations related to access network(power equipment / BTS /MW/ Fiber Node)
• Daily clearing of hardware and software faults related utility/ BTS /MW/ Fiber.
• Routine maintenance of BTS site power
• Equipment / BTS /MW/ Fiber Node.
• Deploy, supervise and check quality of new BTS & MW & fiber network as per requirement.
• Site Survey as per the defined format for network expansion.
• Generation daily Reports of activity carried on access network.
• Experience on LTE technology, Huawei equipment with HSE certification will be an added advantage.

Job Title: IP-Core Network Engineer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Responsibilities

• Basic understandings of Cisco and Huawei switches and routers,
  LAN, WAN, IP subnetting, VLAN, VPN, VRRP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, ASA
  Firewalls, switching and routing.
• To operate in an ISP core network includes multiple vendors to serve their LTE-4G / enterprise customer.
• To analyze Distribution network by evaluating network
  performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput and
  latency.
• Troubleshooting network problems ; escalating problems to vendor / Lagos IP-Core team for faster resolution.
• Basic level troubleshooting of network devices, links, routing.
  Customer related issues should be taken care promptly to maintain SLA.
• Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis.
• Willing to work in extended or shift timings and readily available for an 24*7 on-call support for any reported issue.
• Respond quickly to issues affecting the network environment to maintain high availability and uptime.

Job Title: Power Engineer

Location: Rivers

Qualifications

• Trade Test Grade 1 to 3 /Diploma in Electrical Engineering./ Bachelor degree in Electrical.
• Work Experience – 3 – 6 years’ experience in telecom domain on Electrical/Power operations
• Hands-on in AC/DC power, AVR, IPMS, ATS, Manual Changeover, rectifier, battery, grid power, UPS, Earthing etc
• Hands-on in Generator Operation (Kiloskar /JMG),
• Working knowledge on AC( Air Conditioner) operation and fault handling
• Hands-on in passive infra maintenance (Tower)
• Coordination with Sub-Contractor for new site build and daily operation
• Experience in Huawei power equipment, Kiloskar /JMG Gen., Samsung Air Conditioner will be preferred.

Job Description

• Main responsibility will be Planning and analyzing KPI of
  RF(from M2000) & RF related issues from Drive Test Logs(Terms
  investigation) and resolving signal issues to maintain optimal
  transmission performance for existing and new site
• Travel (Frequent/Infrequent; Intracity/Intercity): Intracity Within Port Harcourt.

Required Qualification/ Work Experience

  telecom domain on RF planning, Field DT, Pre and Post DT analysis, and
  optimization.
• Good exposure in telecom technologies like GSM,CDMA, WiMAX,LTE.
• Extensive working knowledge in PHC terrain and PHC demographic.
• Daily KPI Analysis of access network.
• Resolution of customer complains escalated from FSE/ CC/Inter-department.
• Monthly Overall PHC Network DT : Pre and Post DT analysis and suggestion on improvement .
• Hands-on in TEMS investigation DT tools.
• Hands-on in Anritsu Spectrum Analyzer
• Hands-on in U-net, Atoll , etc Planning tools
• Capacity analysis and new site planning. Forecast future capacity trend and site requirement.
• Experience on LTE technology will be an added advantage.

Job Title: BSS & MW Technician Cum Rigger

Job Title: Enterprise Engineer

The Department

• The Enterprise team is responsible for CPE and last-mile connectivity to enterprise customer

Role

• The incumbent needs to provide support for Microwave links and Wi Fi hotspots.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Installation, configuration and Maintenance of Microwave links.
• Extensive Knowledge in radio propagation, MW Antenna deployment, interference analysis
• Responsible for testing of mw equipment, measurement of RSL and SNR, and other standard radio parameters
• Experience in configuration and troubleshooting of LAN, WAN, and WLAN
• Co-ordination with customers for complaint resolutions
• Responsible for carrying out detailed Site Survey and necessary documentation
• Working knowledge on EMS / NMS

Requirements

• B.Sc/HND in Telecommunication / Computers
• Minimum Two (2) years plus of work experience
• Candidate with CCNA and HSE certificates will be preferred.
