Job Summary
  • The Senior Business Development Consultant will be responsible for driving company’s Training and Consulting Services in the Lagos territory, by building productive and professional relationships with prospective and existing customers.
  • The ideal candidate should possess strong sales and business development experience with an excellent network of contacts and transferable skills from the training and consulting sector or a relevant sector.
Key Objectives
  • Ability to achieve a minimum individual annual sales target of £500,000 or as set by the Country manager within set timeline.
  • To maintain good relationship with contacts and update the CRM with revenue and activity updates.
  • Demonstrate Company’s Training Products and services to potential/existing clients and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs through a consultative sales effort.
Job Requirements
  • B.Sc/HND in Business related field ( Minimum 2:2)
  • Cognate experience in Sales role in the Training and Consulting Industry.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong contacts and network in the relevant sector
  • 4-7 years verifiable commercial and business experience
  • Strong personal sales network.
  • Good negotiation and communication skills.
  • Must have a strong entrepreneurial flair
  • Strong ability to use Microsoft Application Programs
  • Ability to use any widely recognized Customer Relationship Management software
Main Responsibilities and Duties
  • Promote the companies services to clients and prospects.
  • To pro-actively seek new businesses in Lagos-Nigeria in the specified product range, by targeting a combination of company existing customer base and prospective customers.
  • Apply systematic strategy to grow the company’s customer database, based on set deliverables.
  • Ensure the rest of the sales team are kept informed of developments within your product range or territory
  • Strategic sales of company services and development of strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Achieve sales and activity targets set each month by the Country Manager.
