We are recruiting to fill the position of:
Job Title: Accountant (Entry Level)
Location: Lagos
Job Description
Preparation of monthly accruals and prepayments for inclusion in management and resource accounts
Preparation of financial analyses and notes for inclusion in management and resource accounts and to assist in responses to queries from management
Assisting in the preparation of the department’s annual resource accounts within the statutory and administrative deadlines
Assisting in the development of management accounting and costing information available to the department
Assisting in the development of the Financial and Corporate Plan
Contributing to the development of Risk Management
Management and development of staff
Liaison with the department’s external auditors, assisting in ad-hoc projects
Desired Skills:
Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Technical Ability
Planning
Leading and taking responsibility
Requirements
B.Sc/HND in Accounting or any other related course of study.
A minimum of second class lower degree/equivalent.
Must be resident in Lagos.
Computer literate.
