other IT infrastructure and transversal services to corporate organization is seeking the services of talented resourceful and experienced persons to fill the position below:
Job Title: Network Engineer
Requirements
Excellent disposition and interpersonal relations
Ability to work under pressure.
Good networking and troubleshooting skill.
Must have basic routing skills and be proficient in RF equipment.
B.Eng/HND Electrical Engineering.
CCNA qualification.
5 years post qualification experience, within the IT sector will be an added advantage.
Sound verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
Ensure 100% up time availability at the POP by constant monitoring of links and trunks.
Ensure client fault calls are attended to within SLA time frame.
Ensure the functionality of all installed links at the clients’ site before hand over.
Ensure effective configuration of all equipment.
Ensure accurate site survey are conducted and act as a verifier for all installed links.
Sign of all completed jobs and ensures proper documentation of all installed links, resolved faults for
POP administration and supervision.
Faults resolutions from.
Supervise riggers and technician in the POP.
Routine maintenance on client power and earth reading.
Ensure team members are properly trained on how to effectively carryout any new installation and resolution of faults when the need arises.
