 Job Title: Assembly Line Technician
Location: Lagos
Job Scope
  • Work on the assembly line, follow instructions, diagrams and blueprints to work on the assembly of diesel generators.
  • Carry out fault diagnosis and carry out forward planning on assigned work/projects.
  • Ensure high level of productivity in work assigned.
  • Ensure spares or materials lists are compiled in good time for work assigned.
  • Ensure all resources allocated are safely and securely stored while in possession and ensure that they are returned good order.
  • Ensure that all actions are compliant with the quality, health and safety standards of the company.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
  • Knowledgeable in the combination and use of any number of the tools, including punches, hammers, wrenches, cutters, clamps, callipers, pliers, templates, moulds, paint sprayers, or welding equipment and other electric or gas-powered machines.
  • Must have excellent vision, coordination and dexterity to deal with handling and manipulating materials and parts.
  • Able to focus on the task at hand and pay attention to details.
  • Technical school certification or an associate Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in maintenance or assembly of power generating equipment.
Job Title: Technical Sales Executive
Location: 
Lagos
Job Summary
  • We are hiring Technical Sales Executives to sell our range of diesel generators.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and grow the business with existing major accounts while generating new accounts.
  • Management of new sales leads, including qualification, response, recording and follow up with the objective of securing purchase orders.
  • Working with technical team to coordinate positive business outcomes
  • Send quotations, pursuing these to purchase orders
  • Prospect for new customers within key target growth areas
  • Managing and interpreting customer requirements
  • Offering after-sales support services
  • Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
  • Must have experience in technical sales such as generating sets etc.
  • Graduate Degree or HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Professional demeanour and attitude, outgoing and friendly.
  • Organised, focussed, sales driven.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Confidence to use own initiative, and to seek out opportunities to improve products, processes and services.
  • Credibility and reliability – make realistic commitments and live up to them.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in B2B technical sales.
