Qualifications
Preference will he given to candidates with Medical degrees, MD, B.Sc. in Health Management Social Sciences, Public Health or related field, Higher degrees such as MPH with 5-7 years post national youth service corps experience at the community level will be an added advantage.
Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health systems, CBOs and strong background in HIV Care and Support, Care and support programming for vulnerable children, HIV/Reproductive health and TB/HIV Integration are highly desirable.
Preference will be given to candidates from the project selected State and with demonstrated relevant previous experience.
Responsibilities
Provide technical assistance in project implementation and assign responsibilities to (Gift) staff in the States, taking into cognizance skills and ability of such staff to perform up to expectation.
Involved in advocacy activities and work in partnership with the State and LGA, SACA, LACA, Health Management Board, CBO and other influential partners.
Participate in meetings with the State Ministry of Health, Consortium partners, and other stakeholders.
Lead the preparation of State’ programmatic and M&E reports and ensure timely submission of complete and effective documentation and reports to the Deputy Director, Programs.
Review reports from project team and ensure that they correctly reflect project performance the field.
Lead and maintain contact with government agencies, donors, partners and other stakeholders on behalf of the organization in the States.
Plan, organize, conduct and evaluate trainings and participate in the review and development of training material.
Ensure that project transactions are kept within the limits of the budget, and grant funds are expended inefficient and effective manner.
