Job Title: Assistant Document Controller

Job Requirements & Responsibilities
Must be capable of executing the following:
- Perform the numbering, filing, sorting and retrieval of hard copy documents.
- Perform file backup and ensure proper storage and archiving of electronic registers.
- Store company documentation in a safe and orderly manner, and in line with company policies and procedures.
- Provide adequate document control support to projects
- Accurately update information as required, assist with file migrations and audits.
- Assist Document Control Supervisor to develop and maintain documents such as minutes of meetings, specifications, drawings, procedures, approvals and related items.
- Assist in preparing weekly and monthly reports for the Document Control Center
- Monitor all Transmission of Transmitter Sheet Outgoing (TSO), Transmitter Sheet Incoming (TSI) between Client, Contractor and Sub-contractor (Vendors).
- Perform data entry of vendor/supplier drawing, engineering schedule items, engineering procedures and process specifications.
- Any other task assigned from time to time.
- Must be able to use Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Information Management Systems.
- Assist Document Control Supervisor and advise Project Manager/Project Engineer on Document Control needs prior to commencement of any construction or installation activities.
- Be able to participate in meetings and Quality Action Teams (QAT) for the Document Controls Group and initiate improvements when necessary.
Qualifications
- Higher National Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent qualifications in Engineering, Sciences or Social Sciences will be acceptable.
- Basic knowledge of Oil field operations in both Onshore and Offshore locations
- Good planning and organizational skills, willing to learn
- Strong technical background and skill for details
- Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Scheme. Good communication skills at all levels, computer literate.

Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Requirements & Responsibilities
Must have at least 7 years’ experience in Project Engineering, and be capable of executing the following;
- Perform, participate and contribute to oil and gas related projects from engineering, procurement, installation, fabrication, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning in onshore, offshore and swamp environments.
- Responsible for planning and efficient Engineering, Project Engineering and Project Management Team support of a projects.
- Responsible for Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Reports, as required.
- Prepare, collect, and evaluate cost, schedule and progress information on a project. Regularly update the schedule of milestone payments with approved Milestone Certificates and Invoiced Milestones. Advise client on any need for corrective action.
- Maintain detailed control budgets of costs in a computerized cost Engineering and Project Engineering and Project Management Team systems.
- Provide and maintain cost and project controls, schedules, and update monthly progress reports on projects.
- Monitor project costs and schedule against plan, evaluate for deviations/trends, and forecast what will be the end results if no specific actions are taken to modify the future.
- Perform regular cost reviews with Project Team to monitor, trend, and forecast project costs. Alert the Project Manager and Project Management Team of any significant deviations that should attract corrective action.
- Assemble information on the progress and status of the project. Coordinate, prepare and issue on a timely basis a monthly project status report.
- Perform occasional probabilistic and/or risk analyses regarding the project’s cost and schedule.
- Ensure the preparation of project close out report after project completion.
- Participate actively in the Construction and Implementation of Projects/ Contracts. The scopes will cover fabrication of topsides, platforms revamp, repairs, refurbishment, painting, tank construction, revamp, cleaning and modifications, flow line/pipeline construction and repair, and miscellaneous offshore and onshore facilities installations.
- Development of various plans and installation procedures for fabrication and installation.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Project Manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum B. Sc. Degree in Engineering or Higher National Diploma. Possession of relevant Professional Certificate will be an advantage.
- Good general knowledge of Oil field operations in Land, Onshore and Offshore locations

- Supervise, perform and coordinate all project controls functions on any and all projects.
- Coordinate, collect, and evaluate cost, schedule and progress information on the project. Regularly update the schedule of milestone payments with approved Milestone Certificates and Invoiced Milestones. Advise client on any need for corrective action.
- Maintain detailed control budgets of costs in a computerized cost management system. Provide and maintain baseline schedules, and update monthly progress on projects.

- Perform file backup and ensure proper storage and archiving of electronic registers.
- Train and mentor less experienced team members on records management procedures and policies, including documentation, retention, retrieval, destruction and disaster recovery.
- Store company documentation in a safe and orderly manner, and in line with company policies and procedures.
- Provide adequate document control support to projects
- Produce and maintain Document Progress Reports to Project Managers.
- Accurately update information as required, assist with file migrations and audits.
- Assist Project Managers and Engineers develop and maintain documents such as minutes of meetings, specifications, drawings, procedures, approvals and related items.
- Manage Vendor Document Register, Contractor Document Register, Reports and Correspondences.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports for the Document Control Center
- Create and maintain documentation database at all project stages.
- Monitor all Transmission of Transmitter Sheet Outgoing (TSO), Transmitter Sheet Incoming (TSI) between Client, Contractor and Sub-contractor (Vendors).

- Create Document Numbers, application of return code, revision number and updating of document status as required for all correspondences and documents.
- Have a wide technical knowledge of various document control nomenclatures used in the Oil & Gas industry covering all disciplines.

- Liaise with Construction, Planning, Engineering Design Contractor and advice Project Manager/Project Engineer on Document Control needs prior to commencement of any construction or installation activities.
