The Client
This indigenous Power Company has made vast improvements to Nigeria’s Power sector through its ever-expanding portfolio of Transmission and Substation projects. As such it has a great reputation and is seen as a leader in Nigeria.
The Role
Based in Port Harcourt or Abuja, Nigeria and reporting into the Chief Commercial Officer, the client is looking to appoint 2 experienced Business Development Managers on a permanent basis with immediate effect. The successful applicant will be responsible for developing new business leads and attracting new projects.
Suitable Applicants
With a Degree or HND in Engineering and/or Marketing, candidates will have a minimum of 5 years’ Marketing experience with large projects experience in the Power or Construction industries. You will be proficient in ERP Solutions and be knowledgeable in contracts, negotiations and change management. Knowledge of construction and contract law is advantageous.
Your key duties will include:
– Identifying potential clients and developing relationships in order to support the preparation of successful proposals.
– Developing revenue opportunities for the company through several vibrant business and revenue streams.
– Launching and implementing new business initiatives for the company in line with company growth objectives.
– Capitalizing on existing client relationships to expand projects in the Power market.
– Closing new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, integrating contract requirements with business operations.
Salary
A salary of ₦4,000,000 – ₦6,000,000 per annum is provided, plus benefits.
