Property24 is looking for a dynamic Nigeria Sales Manager, to be based in Lagos. The successful candidate will be joining Property24’s global organisation, spearheading the growth of our Nigerian property portal business by bringing new Estate Agents onto the platform. If you’re passionate about sales, love customers and managing a team, are strategic, driven, self-motivated, inspiring and a creative thinker, this role may be the perfect position for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct sales activity (particularly for key accounts) – The role is customer facing, and the Sales Manager would spend a significant percentage of the workday in direct contact with customers and prospects.
Line management and sales management responsibility for a small team of sales and sales support people in Lagos, Nigeria
Staff Management: Set up, manage and measure performance criteria for direct reports. Manage operational staff issues.
Meet targets for contacting prospects, client meetings, and new customers activated on the Property24 Platform
Weekly and monthly reporting on activities
Work Environment:
Small agile sales team in Lagos, supported by large and stable company in South Africa
Early phase of investment in Nigeria, expectation of rapid growth
Focused on the Lagos market at the outset, opportunity to grow the role and business to other territories in Nigeria
Frequent contact with management team at Property24 in South Africa
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications and Experience:
Relevant sales qualification or certification is advantageous
Experience in Real Estate Industry is advantageous
Experience working with online listings platforms advantageous
Minimum of 3 years Sales Experience
Minimum of 1 year Sales Management Experience
