Job Title: Customer Service Officer
BASF – Illupeju Lagos

Job description

The incumbent will be expected to take full ownership of back office processes and ensure a customer focused business environment, taking BASF’s business interests into account. Other duties relates to Order Management which includes checking product availability, order entry, monitoring material allocation and updating the customer with information pertaining to order shipments; Proactive Credit Management which includes monitoring overdue accounts and resolving account queries; Business Development which includes pro-active order taking and issuing quotations; Non Conformance Management which includes recording and reporting processing
non-conformance, customers claims and supplier complaints through NCM; and Procurement which includes monitoring stock movement or raw materials and packaging.

Any other duties to fulfill the role
Desired Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate should possess a relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management or Supply Chain coupled with at least 3 years experience in Sales or Logistics as well as a proven track record in the chemical industry, Advanced level SAP and computer literacy skills, Fluent communication in English.
