Job Description
Our client a leading name in FMCG industry is expanding its current manufacturing operations to take advantage of the growing market, hence that creates a need to hire a seasoned professional from the engineering side who is experienced in managing large scale Greenfield projects and expansion of brown field projects. You would be responsible for leading the development of the engineering strategic plan for the region and ensure the execution of the annual Capital investment for the region. Developing the strategic plan you would focus on manufacturing capacity / capability , build Overall region infrastructure plans, Sponsor the standardization, implementation and sustainment of engineering processes, ensure all capital expenditures projects are being executed on time and within agreed scope, capital and performance outcome criteria. You must have handled projects in excess of $ 300m with in food industry.There is no doubt that the chosen candidate will be “best in class” demonstrating a track record of success in leading manufacturing departments of blue chip fmcg’s.
The must have’s….
BSc in Mechanical, electrical or Industrial Engineering (Masters degree preferred) with a strong understanding of manufacturing and engineering systems within the food industry.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to represent and influence internally and
externally.
A minimum of 18+ years of experience (and Quality experience at that )in managing and engineering function within the FMCG industry with a multinational in the same sector.
