Edwin Drake is currently representing a leading Independent E&P organisation who is seeking to
identify a Deputy Production Operations Manager to join their team.
Job Title: Deputy Production Operations Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION
Working in close collaboration with the Hydrocarbon Accountants, Production Operations Engineers and Production Support staff, you will actively deputise for the Production Operations Manager and will oversee the production optimization and maximisation of the asset value.
Responsibilities:
Production Engineering, including oversight in project identification, evaluation and production economics
Well Completions: remedial work design, production enhancement and optimization
Management of asset profitability
Act as Asset Manager on assigned asset throughout its lifecycle
Accountability in meeting financial target and providing support to field managers
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline, ideally: Chemical or Petroleum Engineering
Over 10 years of experience in Production Engineering and Operations in the Upstream Oil and Gas Industry
Strong knowledge of Petroleum Economics, Production Optimization and Enhancement, as well as awareness of Well Completions
Proven leadership skills demonstrated by managing a small Production Operations team, with particular focus on profitability and increasing financial return
