Key Aims:
Data Centre Operations, Maintenance and facilities management.

Key Responsibilities:
Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on all aspects of the critical facility operations and maintenance.
Work with data centre managers, data centre lead and other business leaders to coordinate projects, manage capacity, and optimize plant safety, performance, reliability and efficiency.
Operate and manage both routine and emergency services on a variety of critical systems such as: switchboards, ATS, STS, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, condensing units, building monitoring systems, etc.
Assist in the design and build out of new facilities.
Possess strong awareness of current and emerging data centre industry standards including TIA/EIA, BICSI, Uptime Institute, Green grid and NFPA as well as related vendors and technologies.
 Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with superior ability to respond proactively to data centre emergencies
Assist in projects to increase current Rack Centre facility’s efficiency.

    3-6 years’ experience in rigging in Oil & Gas / Fabrication environment.

    Previous Offshore Rigger experience is essential

    Level 3 Rigging Assessment or equivalent certification is preferred.

 Job Title: Senior Piping Superintendent

Location: Lagos

Purpose/Role:

    The Senior Piping Superintendent plans, organizes and supervises specific portions of the work such as shop drawing review, plate cutting, fit-ups, welding, rigging, load outs, electrical etc. He applies expertise and specialized talents to the efforts of the assigned craft and in addition perform the following duties:

Prime Responsibilities and Duties:

    Responsibilities include – reviewing weekly Safety Reports to ensure no slipping actions and to resolve issues with Supervisors or give feedback to Manager. Understands Emergency Response, Fire Escape & Safe Workplace Arrangement plans and cascading information to assigned workforce. Reviews, has input into and implements JSA and Method statements.

    Must be able to supervise and coordinate activities of Co-workers engaged in fabrication I Erection. Request supporting trades and services. Understand the project organization chart(s) and to respond to Construction Manager overall objectives

    Understand the construction methods and work packs, highlight bottle necks and potential risks included in the tasks. Understanding of the schedule and project to determine needs for supplies and sequence of operations required. Verifying work issued is sufficient to meet schedule and to maintain direct labour and supervision workload. Required to resolve day to day issues and to implement workaround plans in liaison with Piping Manager. Verifying that progress made is being reported correctly and to measure progress in collaboration with Supervisors.

    It is also required to understand and request necessary logistics, equipment’s and materials required and to mobilize and demobilize manpower as required. Recognize the distribution, execution, completion and close out of work packages as per target budget and set schedules.

    Supporting lower supervision levels in resolution of issues. Monitoring performance, making suggestions and implementing corrective actions. To support technical improvements, e.g. in equipment, sequencing and working methods.

    Coaching labour, to meet required levels of quality. Provide support for his team.

    Contributing to Tool Box Talk topics,

    Maintaining necessary records of production, labor, and equipment. Arrange reports as requested by Piping Manager.

    Provide competency and capabilities assessment of direct reports. Arrange daily feedback to Piping Manager on performance.

    Promote a safe and organized work environment within his area of responsibility.

    Establish and promote an environment of mutual respect and teamwork with all employees.

Job Title: Dimensional Controller

Location: Lagos

Organisational Unit – Op-Services

Purpose
·         The role of the dimension control surveyor is to carry out the dimensional checks on all fabricated structures and individual elements as per the project specific ITP.

Key Aims:
    Accuracy in checking at all stages is essential to ensure a smooth within tolerance fabrication for the client. The more accuracy that is achieved throughout the fabrication stages will ultimately speed up final assembly.
    To satisfy clients with the use of best engineering practices which in turn provides a quality end product with correct and accurate final report documentation.

Prime Responsibilities and Duties:
·         Dimensional checking of fabricated members at both pre weld and post weld status.
·         Dimensional checking of fabricated members when assembled into structures/frames at both pre weld and post weld status.
·         Dimensional checking and monitoring of structures/frame integration to form completed structure at both pre weld and post weld status.
·        All of the above are to be carried out using both basic measuring techniques (tape, level and square) and more advanced techniques such as optical levels and EDM depending upon the item to be checked.
·         Random verification of interim dimensional control reports from fabrication and returning such to the crew leads/superintendent.
·         Review of the AFC drawings to ensure fully understanding of the structure/element to be checked.
·         Preparation of field survey results for review by superintendent, and subsequent forwarding to fabrications/client as required.
·         Ensuring that any discrepancies from design and deviation from tolerance are reported to the fabrication teams to allow corrections to be made to bring items within tolerance.
·         Schedule and perform join inspections with client’s representative to allow client sign off of fabricated items/structures.
·         Ensure that only calibrated or verified equipment is used for dimension control activities.

Other Duties:
    Support the works and facilities department in carrying out topographical surveys when required to facilitate yard expansion and CAPEX projects.
    Assist the construction teams in providing setting out points derived from engineering for structures in the erection areas.

    Electronic survey data to be passed to CAD technicians for report generation and result interpretation.
    Daily reports in checks carried out that day along with pass or fail results.

    Carry out quality controls and inspections before during and after welding activities

    Review engineering/fabrication drawings as well as Welding Procedure Specification, ensuring that all fabrication activities are in conformance to approve procedure

    Monitor WPQT & WQT in line with Client referenced Specification such as GHS-301/ GS-PVV 611 and Governing Codes AWS D1.1 and ASME B 31.3 and applicable CNL Project Specifications

    Report quality issues regarding fabrication anomalies to appropriate personnel

    Identification and reporting of non – compliance and poor performance to Project QAQC Co-ordinator

    Perform pre-painting inspection activities prior to release of structure

·         To review the Engineering Drawings & Ensure that the materials in the material requisition vouchers are available for the work are in place before issuing the work pack.
·         Implement & Plan the construction phase execution strategies, resource planning, personnel monitoring & oversight programs.
·         Ensure that required QA/QC Plans & Systems are in place & that adequate staff are assigned to project.
·         To ensure effective work pack & project closeout.
