Job Title: Contract Manager

Job description

a)      Shall lead a team of Contract Engineers assigned to various projects.

b)      Shall supervise and direct day-to-day functions concerning Contract administration.

c)      Shall review the terms & conditions of contract (pre-bid) and provide observations on contract to proposal team for submission to client.

d)      Shall liaise with client in coordination with proposal team for resolution of comments on pre-bid Contracts.

e)      Shall study & familiarize himself with on-going Contract agreement, scope, terms & conditions etc.

f)       Shall review and finalize change order procedure & invoicing procedure for submission to client.

g)      Shall monitor & ensure timely submission of Contract notifications & Variation request to client.

h)      In coordination with Project manager, shall monitor & follow-up issuance of Change Order.

i)        Shall update and advise for implementation of any change in statutory & legal requirements.

j)        Shall review & finalize Contractual correspondences with client/ vendor/ subcontractors, as required.

k)      Shall ensure timely preparation of claims/ counter-claims & finalization of same.

l)        Shall attend meeting with client/ vendor/ subcontractors, as required.

m)   Shall assist project management team in expeditious resolution of issues concerning the contract implementation.

n)      Shall identifying & analyze the risk to project/ bid, and advise for mitigation plan.

Desired Skills and Experience

    Candidate must be graduate or PG (any discipline) with good exposure to Contract Administration/ management in the Construction industry.
    Candidate should have an experience of 12+ years with minimum of 7 years’ experience in Contract Administration/ management.
    Candidate should have previously worked in similar capacity.
    Candidate must have good knowledge of FIDIC Contracts.

Candidate having experience in UAE or Middle East Asia countries shall be preferred.
