Job Title: ICT Technician
Location: Abuja
Main Responsibilities
Treats all information rapidly, with discretion and accuracy
Is aware of most appropriate way of transmission of messages (fastest and cheapest)
Gathers information about the situation in the delegation and the field offices and make suggestion to improve the setup.
Installs, checks and maintains HF and VHF radios/repeaters and their antenna systems in vehicles and buildings (offices, premises, repeater sites, warehouses) Applies the CRC standard procedures for installing and maintaining computers, printers and network device
Monitors the ICRC WAN connection and acts proactively in relation to providers in case of service problems
Assist the Access Manager on the users and servers administration Assist in installation of medium size PABX and its programming installs small phone networks including PAX, telephone sets and GSM gateways
Briefs users concerning the computer equipment, the ICRC IT rules on security of
Briefs users concerning the computer equipment, the ICRC IT rules on security information and software utilization
Attributes equipment depending on users’ needs in accordance with his direct superior Contributes actively to quarterly ICT Report
Informs his direct superior and colleagues about significant changes on stock updates
Required Qualifications
University degree in ICT domain (Electronics Telecommunications Computer Systems).
3 years work experience in a similar field
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Good knowledge of VHF and HF Radio and Satellite communication
Ability to interpret any situation with accuracy and to present a synthesis of a problem to collaborators
Capable of assessing the situation in the field offices remotely and to initiate necessary actions
Discretion concerning the accessible information

Job Title: Radio Operator
Location: Abuja
Main Responsibilities
Operate VHF & HF radios, sat-phones and maintain daily radio operations updated in the ICRC Fiel Mobile Database
Conduct radio checks as requested by the management.
Monitor security and safety incidents and movement of the personnel during field trips Monitor emergency frequencies in order to detect distress calls and respond by dispatching emergency equipment.
Act quickly in the event of an emergency and contact relevant managers Maintain a detailed incident log for security reports.
Informs management immediately in case of unusual contacts.
Required Qualifications
Diploma in ICT, Electronic related field or equivalent training
3 years experience in communications/Radio operations within NGO’s or similar function preferably with an International organization.
Very good knowledge of Windows operated computers.
Good knowledge of radio (HF&VH) technology and satellite communication and radio security.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Strong sense of responsibility and autonomy with good organizational skills Good knowledge of IS services, equipment markets and vendors in Nigeria.

Job Title: ICT Help Desk Technician
Location: Abuja
Main Responsibilities
Provide helpdesk IT support to internal customers, assisting them with hardware, software, network and communications problems by phone, email and/or desk-side support
Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT help desk
Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software Assist with creating and updating of all documentation relating ICT services and procedures
Contribute to team meetings and play an active role in the development of the service delivered by the team
Comply with all the organizations policies and procedures, in particular those relating to the delivery of ICT services and information security
Provide reasonable availability for any out of hours activities as required
Required Qualifications

Job Title: Radio Room Supervisor
Location: Abuja
Main Responsibilities
Operate VHF & HF radios, sat-phones and maintain daily radio and operations in Field Mobile Data Base (DB)
Conduct radio checks as requested by the management and ensures that all equipment placed under his/her responsibility is in good working condition, reports inefficiencies in Radio Room and faulty equipment
Make radio contact and register the movements of CRC cars in the ICRC Field Mobile DB
Broadcast weather reports and warnings
Examine and operate new equipment prior to installation in order to ensure that it performs properly
Review applicable regulations regarding radio communications and report violations of rules
Monitor emergency frequencies in order to detect distress calls and respond by dispatching emergency equipment
Act quickly in the event of an emergency and contact relevant management Maintain a detailed incident log for security reports
Prepare and conduct emergency telecommunications briefing for ICRC new staff Informs the management immediately in case of unusual contacts.
