Major Accountabilities of Position
Preparing Cooling Load calculations, development of HVAC Philosophy, Basis of Design, Specifications, and HVAC Concept Layout & Tender Layout
Review of HVAC Load Calculation, HVAC Specifications, HVAC Airflow & Chilled Water Schematics and HVAC Equipment Schedules
Designing a HVAC system, Fire protection and Fire detection system for Gathering center facilties
Review contractor’s Transmittal Drawings and material submittal as per FEED package
Preparing Bill of Quantities, Cost Estimate & Bid evaluation for Mechanical FEED package
Preparing project specifications of all building project in a multi-disciplinary office
Preparing cooling and heating load calculations using Elite (HVAC software).
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
Bachelors degree in Mechanical engineering or related field.

Job Specific Knowledge:
Skilled knowledge in specifications such as, Packaged Equipment Design , Pump Design , Compressor Design, Vessel Design, Heat Exchange Equipment Design, Mech. Equipment Driver Design, Ancillary Equipment Design , Detailed Mechanical Design Calculations,
Mechanical Transmission etc
IT Skills:
Proficiency in utilizing PC and various computer engineering applications software s (including CAD, Microstation CAD systems if applicable)
People Skills:
Requires communication skills to be able to successfully work in a team environment and communicate effectively with other disciplines.
Industry Specific Experience:
5 years of related working experience.
HSE Capability:
Commitment to safe working practices and ability to promote safety consciousness within the department.
