Job Summary

   
Increase shareholders value by optimizing financing structures and
cost,instituting and maintaining prudent and professional management of
all projects, financial and currency risks; liquidity to optimize funds,
cost,earnings and cash availability and treasury operations systems and
structure.

Principal Functions

    Maintain external
relationships and etworks that increase the image, standing and
effectiveness of the organization i.e. with local and foreign banks,
credit rating agencies, CBN, SEC, NSE and the government to ensure long
term financial viability
    Develop and implement strategies that
meet the company’s financing needs while supporting achievement of
financial objectives, including minimization of financing expense.
   
Manage various activities related to the management of corporate cash,
borrowings and investments, maintenance of banking relationships.
    Ensure compliance of the company treasury activities with the company policy and in line with local constraints
    Develop and implement treasury policies and ensure proper relationship management with banks
    Lead the execution of financing, acquisitions and joint ventures on behalf of Etisalat
   
Evaluate business scenarios based on quantitative analysis provide
strategic financial analysis and advisory services on industry trends,
market conditions and macroeconomic trends and forecasts
    Carry out research on current trends incorporate financing and develop tools to evaluate business case projections
    Analyse and seek ways to improve capital structure
   
Maintain relationships with financial institutions other service
providers such as investment banks, legal and accounting firms as
required
    Liaise with all levels of management to gather, analyse,
summarize and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans,
acquisition activity, new business planning, trended future
requirements, government requirements and operating forecasts as well as
the evolution of GSM
    Support the development and maintenance of
system projects to support and manage cash flow on a global basis, and
to improve available cash flow and banking information.
    Manage balance sheet/financial structure to meet international efficiency norms and the Group’s gearing strategy compliance

Educational Requirements

    First degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
    An MBA or relevant post graduate/ professional qualification (CIMA, CFA, ACCA, ICAN, etc)

Job Title: Manager, Field Operation

Location: Kano

Job Summary
Manage and oversee all network operation activities of assigned region, ensure strict compliance to laid down rules guiding change execution and manage the regional field team to effectively oversee all routine and corrective maintenance.

Principal Functions

    Manage the regional access,power and transmission availability; optimise diesel delivery and consumption,spares and consumables to reduced OPEX as well as effective vendor management,contract enforcement, SLA and penalty application.
    Manage quality network growth in assigned region by ensuring there is a good handshake with Etisalat Planning, Implementation and vendors EOT teams.
    Ensure the regional team conduct timely and qualitative PAT programs, RFS and PAC as per the approved company process, as well as on-air announcement once meet the minimum acceptance criteria
    Manage incidence report for top management use, address issues highlighted in the individual cluster weekly report and generate monthly reports to guide management decision making.
    Ensure proper audit, inventory and documentation of all sites active and passive equipment in the region
    Manage the Regional EOT and FMOP bi-weekly and monthly meetings with relevant stakeholders for network availability and team performance improvement
    Develop enhanced programs for effective preventive and routine maintenance for all nodes, network element and seamless/effective capex/Opex replacement project as at when due in the region.
    Ensure FMOP team supervision,spot checks, confirmation and sign-offs of all JCF to checkmate vendor team for effective execution of the schedule accurately
    Manage change requests, faults escalation and resolution and ensure TTs are correctly/accurately closed through the regional field team
    Manage the human and material resources across the region and ensure staff development as well as fostering team work spirit and effective communication.
    Ensure your team perform regular and strict followup with colo outages for effective/timely fault resolution within the agreed SLA and mitigate re-occurring outages as well as any other duties as assigned by the Head, Field Operations.

Educational Requirements

    First degree in Engineering or a related field

Job Summary

    Drive the Etisalat Nigeria Digital Business, i.e. data and digital services in the areas of Digital Content, Value Added Services (VAS), and Mobile Advertising, in line with the corporate strategy.
    Responsible for ideation, evaluation, piloting, product development, partner development, launch, in-service delivery and P&L for these products.

Principal Functions

    Lead the Digital Services Business with respect to product portfolio, revenue performance, asset investments, customer experience, channel strategy through effective use of partners, people, systems and processes
    Develop the strategy and road map for Digital Business product portfolio to include acquisition of, deployment of and marketing of products to meet financial and other strategic objectives of the business
    Responsible for the identification of mobile data monetization opportunities and the development of winning commercialization strategies
    Ensure competitiveness of the portfolio of products to enable support of core businesses against competition, in order to become a leader in Digital Business Services

    Twelve (12) to Fifteen (15) years work experience, with at least four (4) years in a senior management role in a multinational organization.
    Significant experience within the Telecom industry expected.
    Strong previous experience in managing cross-functional teams and cross-functional responsibilities, managing business units and delivering against key result indicators.

Job Summary

    Responsible for implementing an effective and efficient warehousing system to support the logistics and supply chain requirement.
    Regularly update and implementation of central warehouse operational procedures(physical/system process).

Principal Functions

    Ensure availability of Point of Sale materials in all new and existing regions of operations.
    Carry out reverse logistics of stock, sales material and POS (point of sales material) across regions
    Ensure proper distribution and redistribution of stock across all regional warehouses

Job Title: Director, Legal Service

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

    Serve as the principal legal officer in the formulation of Etisalat’s legal, corporate, business, commercial and investment policies and other strategic matters by providing legal opinion to protect its interests and mitigate risks.
    Oversee the Legal Services Division and guide its personnel and activities to meet Etisalat’s overall corporate goals and objectives.

Principal Functions

    Oversee the articulation of the departmental strategy in line with the overall corporate strategy
    Demonstrate ownership of and communicate the department’s strategic direction and objectives to all staff.
    Provide legal inputs in the formulation of Etisalat’s business and investment policies.
    Advice on telecoms matters with respect to relevant regulatory matters and liaise with Regulatory and Corporate Affairs or other relevant departments of Etisalat as required.
    Coordinate the execution of the department’s work programs and plans.
    Establish professional litigation and legal opinion management processes, policies and procedures to ensure consistent and prudent legal advice and action.
    Communicate the activities and achievements of the division to all relevant stakeholders.
    Champion the definition of the division’s processes, policies and procedures.
    Continually review and assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the department’s policies, procedures and processes and identify improvement opportunities.
    Keep abreast of local and global best practices and make recommendations to the Chief Executive Officer on how this impacts the department’s role.
    Prepare and monitor the annual budget for the Legal Services division and take corrective actions in case of any variation.
    Provide legal advice to the Board of the Directors and its various committees including the Executive Committee as required.
    Co-ordinate the handling of litigation by and against Etisalat and advice Management/Heads of Departments on likely litigation cases.
    Liaise with external legal counsels and consultants as required on litigation matters involving Etisalat.
    Interpret local laws, regulations, directives, and decrees affecting Etisalat, and render advice where required to Senior Management and relevant user departments.
    Advise on new laws or amendments to existing legislation.
    Ensure proper coordination between the legal function and other user departments with respect to contracting with suppliers, vendors and 3rd parties ensuring that the interest of the organisation is adequately protected.
    Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports.
    Oversee and coordinate the day to day activities of the division and ensure alignment with the overall goals and objectives of Etisalat.
    Coordinate the preparation and compilation of agreed periodic activities and performance reports for the attention of the Chief Executive Officer.
    Review and authorise key expenditures/transactions of the division in line with approved authority limits.
    Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer.

Educational Requirements

    First degree in law.
    Postgraduate/relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage.
