Job Title: Information Technology Specialist

Location: Lagos state, Nigeria

Overview:

We are currently working with a fast growing E&P company looking to expand its production team within its West African operation platforms.

Role Responsibilities

Networks, Servers and Storage:

    To assist with the configuration, installation and maintenance of network systems including Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks.
    To assist with the selection, acquisition, configuration, installation and maintenance of servers and storage systems.
    To assist in the development of standards and procedures to obtain optimum, reliable performance of installed systems.
    To manage backup and archiving systems.

Desktop and Telecommunications:

    To create a high level of user satisfaction through accurate timely follow ups, strong technical skills, good customer communication and relationship building.
    To evaluate the performance and utilization of computer systems and make appropriate recommendations to management concerning effectiveness, efficiency and quality assurance.
    To maintain inventory of PC hardware and software.
    To support the installation of hardware and software and moving or relocating desktops where necessary

Qualifications

    Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
    5-years relevant experience working in and E&P Oil and Gas Company.
    Must have Previous experience supporting technical teams in Oil and Gas companies is a plus.
    Must be well versed in Microsoft Office communication and productivity tools, Microsoft Office 365, and ERP Systems.
    Must be well informed on advanced technologies.

    Must have clear and concise communication skills.
    Must have the ability to pay attention to details.
    Must be able to work within a fast pace working environment.

 Job Title: Receptionist

Location: Lagos state, Nigeria

Overview:

We are currently working with a fast growing E&P company looking to expand its production team within its West African operation platforms.

Role Responsibilities

    To give continuous support to the operations team by providing updated assessment of any threat to the operational activities and personnel.
    To provide support and deliver complex administration services with a view to enhancing organizational effectiveness and efficiency
    To proactively manage day to day admin demands as well as provide administrative support to staff.
    To receive incoming calls and direct them to the right personnel/ department accordingly.
    To welcome guests, manage and direct them to the appropriate persons as necessary.
    To maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the office entrance and reception area.
    To maintain office supply vendors contact information.
    To liaise with vendors and suppliers for general office supplies and office snacks.
    To provide support in the day-to-day office management.
    To receive, sort and distribute all mail as well as keep a record of all incoming and out-going correspondence.
    To arrange approved staff travel and accommodation directly or through travel agents.
    To coordinate with the Logistics team on airport pick-ups and drop-offs.

Qualifications

    Minimum of a first degree in Administrative and Secretarial Procedures or a relevant Social Science field.
    Must 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience in an E&P oil and gas company.
    Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. to produce correspondence and documents and maintain records, spreadsheets and databases.
    Must be extremely proficient at taking notes, memos and messages.

Personal qualities

    Must have clear and concise communication skills.
    Must display a pleasing and cordial personality.
    Must understand and be able to maintain utmost standards of confidentiality
