We are recruiting to fill the vacant position of:
Title: Oracle Communications Online Mediation Controller – Technical Support Consultant
Role and Responsibilities
Raises support documents/tickets with Oracle support system and follow up for solution
Coordinates with Oracle support DBA: Technical / Techno-functional teams to implement bug fixes and to deploy the same in production
Provides technical training to existing and new users on new functionalities
Responsible for customers needs analysis, installation, migration, integration, and the deployment of
OCOMC.
Work ins production support environment to handle Oracle OCOMC related issues
Adhere to SLA asset by the customer in terms of response/resolution time
Oracle OCOMC requirement to support production issues, defect fixes, small enhancements and provide fixes on requirement basis
Performs root cause analysis for frequently occurring business challenges and develop strategy to resolve them.
Responsible for CDR processing, reconciliation, addressing and resolving issues related to CDR processing
Work with internal and external clients in Mediation and Billing Operations as well as end users on daily basis.
Prepares status report/s to management as directed.
Qualification and Requirements
Basic Knowledge of Operating systems(Unix/Linux),DB(oracle) and Applications
Should have good working knowledge in UNIX/LINUX environment
Basic knowledge of Shell scripting is must.
A minimum of 4 – 7 years of experience in the implementation of large/small scale Mediation and Offline charging system with Hands on experience particularly in Oracle OCOMC
Hands on experience in integrating OCOMC with OBRM and.other downstream systems.
Good knowledge and exposure to Diameter protocol based online and offline charging interfaces
Knowledge of C/C++ and PLSQL is added advantage
Must have good analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills

Bachelor’s degree in computer Science, Telecom Engineering, or related technical field from a recognize university. Masters in MIS will be added advantage
Excellent communication skills in English.
Good customer service skills and desire to work in a collaborative team environment.
Ability to apply the corporate core values to meet customer expectations and satisfaction.
Demonstrate a significant level of experience in overcoming and managing difficult and challenging situation.
Must have good analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
