ABOUT THE JOB
Our Client, highly regarded oil & gas producing company, requires experienced Occupational Health Manager / Medical Advisor.
The role assumes a lot of responsibility for region-wide health programs. Successful candidate must have extensive knowledge of occupational health and general medicine.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive implementation of occupational health programs within the assigned the region.
Set up the system of onsite medical services, primary health care, occupational health care.
Implement health training programs and health service integration into HSE.
Manage health awareness campaigns.
Create medical emergency response plan.
Control the process of pre-employment medical checks and periodical medical checks for company employees.
Liase with vendors to ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
Represent the company in local committees, organizations and authorities.
BACKGROUND
Degree in Occupational Health, Medical Science or related field.
6+ years of relevant experience on similar roles in corporate environment or in health organizations.
Extensive knowledge of corporate and occupational health.
Strong organizational skills, result-oriented, high energy performer.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
