We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Technology Specialist

Location: Lagos

Job Descriptions

Project Management:

  • Site survey, inspection and negotiation of contract
  • Preparation of budgets, work schedules and verification of BOQs
  • Preparation of drawings, system design.
  • Reviewing and monitoring of project progress and performances
  • Plan, execute and complete projects within approved budget.
  • Updating work plans to reflect change in resource assignment for specific tasks.
  • Managing Projects / Project Teams
  • Reviewing and monitoring of project progress and performances System Implementation / Maintenance
  • Supervision of laying of structural cables for data, access control, CCTV, fire alarm, telephone and PABX.
  • Design of working and AS-Built drawing using AutoCAD and Visio
  • Installation and maintenance of electronic security, radio communication and Fleet management systems
  • Participating in system audit and maintenance of client database.
  • Automation of Fleet preventive maintenance Schedule and Vehicle documents reminder.
  • Mounting and termination of devices like fire alarm control
    panel and detectors, CCTV cameras and DVR, access control panel and
    readers, switches and routers for data networking etc.
  • Research into new product line and advise on effectiveness and efficiency
  • Configuration and programming of equipment, Troubleshooting, fault identification and correction
  • Implementation of Electronic Security, Fleet/Asset Management Solutions and GPS Solution.

Business Management Process:

  • Ensure / enforce staff compliance to the documented SOPs.
  • Site Management
  • Coordinate Technicians on site during project implementation
  • Act as key contact resource while providing updates internally and externally to clients.
  • Ensuring that turn-around-time (TAT) are strictly adhered to and enforced at all time
  • Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs for all devices

Personnel Client Management:

  • Ensure that the technicians/contract staffs are adequately engaged
  • Coordinate the assigned sub-unit as subject matter expert e.g. manage the Fleet Management Unit.
  • Research Fleet Management:
  • Develop process, procedure and policies for Fleet Management/Electronics Security Solution Unit.
  • Research, innovate and implement technologies for competitive advantage.
  • Ensure that the technicians/contract staffs are properly trained in company’s area of interest
  • Ensure proper communication and engagement with OEM’s technical staff

Financial Management:

  • Procure materials and equipment from both international and local vendors.
  • Define unbiased engagement /continuous appraisal for vendors and sub contractors
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships and manage the cost effective purchase of material
