Nitigriti Consulting – An expanding HVAC-R organization based in Ebutte-Metta, Lagos State, urgently requires the services of:

Job Title: Inventory Officer [Store Keeper]

Job Description

  • Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be
    responsible for managing all of the company’s inventory control –
    related activities spanning seven (7) distinct warehouses; all stocked
    with goods worth billions of Naira.

Your job functions would be:

  • Excellent execution of the company’s inventory control systems
    to ensure that the company’s stocks are maximized and that all paperwork
    as it relates to the company’s inventory function is accurate;
  • Provision of routine product performance reports to management; whenever such information is required by management;
  • Management/running of scheduled stock takes as at when due;
  • Ensuring of the integrity and accuracy of the company’s stock management system;
  • Carrying out of other duties as may be assigned by the management or a relevant Board Sub-committee
  • Managing of purchasing [inventory re-stock; in conjunction with
    the Managing Director], goods inwards and goods dispatch systems;
  • Ensuring of the timely receipt and delivery/dispatch of goods from suppliers/customers;
  • Performance of periodic + cyclic stock checks;
  • Provision of “in-time” stock profiles – quantities and locations; whenever such information is requested for by management;

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate should be a male [or female], aged between 28 years and 35 years.
  • Such a person must have a deep understanding of inventory
    control and management systems and must be comfortable using inventory
    modules inside of Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
  • A minimum of a first degree in a logistics-related course is
    required for this job; as well as a minimum of three (3) years of
    experience in a related job role.
  • Microsoft Office skills are a must for the ideal candidate.
  • Additionally, the ideal candidate should have strong analytical
    and problem solving skills, as well as excellent written and verbal
    communications skills.
  • He or she must be able to work in a customer-focused but high
    pressure environment; and thus must possess personal organization and
    business administration skills.
