Overview / Responsibilities
Reviews assigned projects, coordinates and summarizes the activities of cost control, planning and scheduling for all types of Contracts over 200 Million. Can also assume other commercial duties as designated by the Project Manager with the concurrence of the Vice President of Project Control. Will assist Project Manager or Site Construction Manager.

Essential Job Functions:
Implements the planning and cost systems as defined within the departmental procedures.
Monitors and reviews schedule and cost performance.
Manages budget changes and transfers and facilitates processing of project variances.
Produces the project cost and progress reports per Procedure.
Assists in the preparation of the weekly progress letter.
Supervises the development and maintenance of all forecasts for cost and schedule and forecast for cash flow and profit and loss.
Identify and analyze potential project problems and recommends corrective action and follow up on recommendations.
Motivates subordinates to meet project objectives; promotes communication and teamwork within group and project.
Assists in the preparation of the Job End Report as it relates to project control.
Produces and maintains the Project Control Execution Plan.

Assists in preparation or update of department procedure, practices, and training programs.
Assists with performance evaluations of subordinates.
Represents the organization in planning and scheduling meetings/presentations with current or prospective clients.

Bachelor degree in any Field or equivalent years of experience. Basic knowledge of a specialized or technical field such as accounting, business administration, mechanical, civil, or electrical technology. Working knowledge of cost accounting. Must be computer literate with working knowledge of scheduling and cost systems and other software. Ten years plus of project controls experience, with five years as a Project Manager.
