We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Information Security Specialist

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• To perform information security risk analysis and periodic information system activities reviews for information security processes.
• To coordinate the development of the organization’s disaster recovery and businesses continuity plans for information systems and tests readiness.
• To serve as an internal information security consultant to the organization.
• To monitor advancements in information security technologies.
• To monitor changes in legislation and accreditation standards that affects information security.
• To communicate all technical reports regularly to information security Manager.
• To develop in association with the organization’s information security and privacy
• To design and develop in accordance with information security policies and procedure
• To implement the organization’s information security and procedure
• To provide direct information security training to the workforce
• To monitor compliance with the organization’s security policy and policy among employees, contractors and alliances, etc.
• To monitor internal controls systems to ensure that appropriate information access levels and security clearances are maintained.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Candidates should possess a good first degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering/Information technology/Information System. OR
• Candidates should possess at least a HND (upper credit) in Computer Science/ Information System Management/Information Technology.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure and database application is required
• Good presentation and communication skills necessary.
• Working experience of between 1 – 3 years in marketing field is required (but not compulsory).
• Cisco CCNA- Security certification or CISSP.
• Professional Certifications in Certified Ethical Hacking (CEH) or CompTIA Security + or any other certification will be an added advantage.
