Job description
Lead the Organization’s HSE team ensuring continuous improvement of operational safety management knowledge and application.
Lead by Example – demonstrates an excellent safety behavior, attitude and initiatives.
Support the vessels and Client Satisfaction Chain management in achieving and maintaining compliance with Company HSE expectations, based on and aligned with Company HSE Plan requirements.
To support the Client Satisfaction Chain stakeholders with incident investigation, communication and overall management related to HSE process.
Management and motivation of the HSE team.
Promote the HSE culture onboard vessels and at shore bases, coach employees on the subject, ensure implementation & application of requirements.
Proactive HSE approach: incident management, training and inductions, communication (campaign, seminars, alerts, intranet…)
Lead HSE performance by providing knowledge and advice to shore-based and offshore personnel.
Ensure compliance with standards linked to HSE, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Manage the accurate and timely reporting of Company HSE statistics.
Analyze Company HSE statistics to identify trends and develop Action Plans to minimize incident rates and improve HSE performance.
Assist Client Satisfaction Chain stakeholders in identifying gaps and bridges between Client and Company’s Safety Management Systems and processes.
Manage specific issues and trends by leading campaigns to improve HSE performance.
Improve occupational health and hygiene by implementing measures and procedures.
Improve environmental impact by implementing measures and procedures.

The key emphasis is on continuous, measurable and sustainable improvement.
