We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading upstream E&P
Oil and Gas client for a number of exciting roles.  Our client currently
owns a number of prolific producing assets and are keen to bolster
their already impressive team of talented professionals.
 
 
Job Title: Senior Well Engineer
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Salary: Negotiable
 
Role Responsibilities
 

• Perform
  all other duties that are necessary and reasonably attached to this
  Senior Well Engineer position and the fulfilment of its
  responsibilities. 
• Any other responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager, Well Engineering.
• Effectively manage Drilling & Completions risks.
• Ensure risk and well control management.
• Responsible for the design of the well.
• Ensure that Drilling activities comply with the highest standards, client’s standards and Government regulations.
• Prepare for the approval of all budgets including expenditures in Drilling related activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science in Engineering or Sciences. A Master’s degree is an added value.
• Minimum of 12+ years of relevant work experience.
• International Well Control Forum subsea well control at supervisory level or equivalent.
