Job Title: Technical Executive, Independent Power Producer
JOB DESCRIPTION This is your opportunity as an experienced Nigerian executive with international experience within the independent power generation sector to join this world class Nigerian power company.
This reputable firm specialises prides itself in adopting industry leading green technology. They are currently running several mid to large scale operations with more than 1000mw in capacity with further planned capacity for the future. They currently employ 100’s of skilled professionals within the Nigerian market and pride themselves in their ethical and technical expertise. Your understanding of the global technology trends, knowledge of turbines and world class procedures will prove invaluable as you develop future strategies.
The role
You will be responsible for defining, establishing and implementing operations and maintenance policies and procedures ensuring the effective generation of power. Your in -depth knowledge of turbines and generators will prove invaluable as you ensure technical issue are resolved in a constructive and effective manner ensuring technical systems are progressively improved. You will perform a key strategic role with regard to the operation of several large scale sites ensuring technical aspects meet industry leading specifications through bench-marking and the adoption of new strategies.
Requirements
A Degree in mechanical / electrical engineering combined with extensive O&M experience specifically related to IPP power plants in the gas fired, hydro or thermal generation sectors. A post graduate business qualification will greatly benefit your application and this role is only open to citizens of Nigeria preferably with some international experience. Experience on plants of over 500mw will be critical to your successful application
Remuneration
Highly negotiable, the focus is to secure the right person for this role
