Technical Service Lead – $80,000/year

The Sr. Technical Consultant is the technical leader working directly with customers to implement Quantum applications. This position requires influential leadership, customer consulting, and technical skills.Reporting to the Professional Services Senior Manager, this technical leadership role is responsible for helping ensure efficient, consistent technical delivery of Quantum product implementations across multiple client projects. This individual will work within a group of Senior Technical Consultants and Technical Consultants who are collectively responsible for identifying and implementing technical configuration, custom code and tuning required to successfully implement the Quantum product.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee all technical project deliverables including
specifications and documentation,
data mapping and data validation,
configuration management
coding,
performance testing and
system tuning
Lead technical client facing activities including workshops, environment planning and operations training
Organize and manage delegation of work to technical team members ensuring accurate and timely completion
Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure timely and correct execution of technical consulting activities, including all technical staff assigned to the project
Execute and improve our technical delivery methodology; Streamline processes within Technical Services to provide consistent results to client/project teams
Provide performance feedback for team members; mentor and assist with performance plans
Management of technical project team KPIs
Required Experience and Skills
2+ years experience in a leadership position within Technical Services team lead
2+ years experience managing client projects in Technical or Professional services
Experience being the primary client technical liaison providing guidance on the hardware needs and the technical solutions
Excellent communication and organizational skills at several levels from individual contributor to executive.
Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Strong working knowledge of Unix, Oracle (SQL and DBA)
Database tuning experience
Knowledge of packaging and deploying code to internal and client environments
Experience planning, delegating and overseeing execution of technical tasks.Full lifecycle software development
Knowledge of server, hardware and network technology
Experience with Agile methodology in conjunction with Waterfall and/or RUP methodologies
Field experience as a technical consultant
Experience in Retail technical service delivery
Configuration Management
Demonstrated ability of success working in a fast paced environment with the ability to work across technical and architectural functions
Experience with JIRA, Confluence and Oracle developer
Putty and Git.
Undergraduate degree is required.
Total annual compensation is USD $80,000 paid at $40/hour for a 40 hour, 50 week work year.
