Qualifications

5 to 7 years hands on experience in this area.
B.Tech / HND Mechanical Engineering
3 – 5 years experience in any modern brand of Automobile industry such like Hyundai, Peugeot, Nissan, Toyota and Ford.
Should have strong technical skills in Engineering/Automobile
Must have worked as a floor in charge/ Service Engineer/supervisor/Technical Coordinator

Responsibilities

Ensure full utilization of workshop available labour and resources to achieve planned operational targets
Allocate job cards and manages technicians to maximize the throughput by aligning jobs to skill sets within team
Carryout quality inspection ,fixing faults, fitting new parts and responding immediately to vehicles and equipment breakdown
Gives practical assistance, on-the-job and technical advice to subordinates
Inform the Service Advisor and Workshop Manager if necessary on any unclear working instructions or costly extensions on the repair
Ensure that the technicians carry out the jobs within the allotted time
Organizing routine servicing schedules
Inherent Skills:

Workshop/Transport supervisory skills
Proficient in MS office and internet versatility
Strong discipline and customer management skills
Speak and writes English language fluently
Management of time to its full potential
Ability to enforce procedures and processes
Good knowledge inventory control and management
OBD11 diagnostic scan use
Creative, dynamic and able to think outside the box
Ability to manage an automotive workshop
