Job Title: Data Analyst

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Monitor and collection of data for the purpose of analysis
  • Identify relevant / related trends,to do follow up analysis and prepare visual representation using maps for better decision making
  • Maintaining the database of data received
  • Provide prompt assistance in the recruitment of field workers when needed
  • Provide weekly report on the status of the various data collected from various locations
  • Convey complex and accurate information to team members
  • Send and receive bulk data on a daily basis from various locations
  • Coordination and supervision of field workers across various locations to ensure the quality, accuracy and timeliness of data collection
  • Identify inconsistencies, correct, exclude or highlight suspect data received

Qualifications and Experience

  • A degree in a numerate discipline such as statistics, economics, mathematics or its equivalent
  • Having a Master’s degree and relevant work experience in operational research is an added advantage
  • Ability to apply statistical methodology to complex data
  • At least 2 years work experience
  • Competency and Proficiency in using Microsoft excel and statistical software packages such as SAS or SPSS to perform advanced-data analysis
  • Having unquestionable integrity, Self-Starter, energetic and result driven
  • Strong analytical/ numerical skills, sound communication and presentation skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, target driven and detail oriented
  • Able to work independently and as a part of a team with changing priorities
  • Willingness to travel occasionally at short notice


Job Title: Receptionist

Location: Lagos

Job Description
Provide office support services in order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the Hamlet Office

Main Activities

  • Receive, direct and relay telephone messages and fax messages
  • Direct the First Nations Members and the general public to the appropriate staff member
  • Pick up and deliver the mail
  • Open and date stamp all general correspondence
  • Maintain the general filing system and file all correspondence
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings, conferences and conference telephone calls
  • Make preparations for Council and committee meetings
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies
  • Respond to public inquiries
  • Provide word-processing and secretarial support
  • Perform clerical duties in order to maintain Hamlet administration

Main Activities:

  • Develop and maintain a current and accurate filing system
  • Monitor the use of supplies and equipment
  • Coordinate the repair and maintenance of office equipment
  • Performs receptionist functions

Main Activities

  • Answer all incoming calls and handle caller’s inquiries when ever possible
  • Re-direct calls as appropriate and take adequate messages when required
  • Greet, assist and/or direct students, visitors and the general public
  • Support the Executive Director and other staff

Main Activities:

  • Assist the Executive Director and other staff as requested
  • Provide administrative services for the Executive Director
  • Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of OND
  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Must be female
  • Applicants should reside in Lagos
  • The Receptionist would normally attain the required knowledge, skills and attitudes through completion of an office procedures course combined with related experience. Equivalencies will be considered.
