Job Title: Facility Electrician
Location: Oyo
Job Description
The successful candidates will report to the Plant Engineer and responsibilities will include:
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and ensure conformance with international standards.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
- Connect wire circuit breakers, transformers or other components.
- Manage electrical workshop and coordinate the requisition and ordering of electrical spares.
- Manage team and individual performance through regular reviews, monitor objectives and ensure development needs are identified and implemented.
- Ensure proper functioning of all electrical units in the facility such as Chillers, Generators, Boiler, compressors and all electric motors. Coordinate work functions with Anxiliary Operators for 3 shifts.
Qualification, Skills and Experience
- B.Sc or HND with a minimum of Second Class Lower/Lower Credit in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in a similar position in the manufacturing sector preferably •in printing and packaging industry.
- Good interpersonal relationship and analytical skills, high level of accuracy and ability to pay attention to details. Mechanical experience will be of added advantage.
- Membership of COREN
- Be proficient in general computer usage as well as Sound. Au1oCAD software knowledge and expertise
- Not be less than 26 years old by December 2016.
- Have a CAN DO Attitude, commercial orientation and understanding of business issues.
