Job Title: Accounts/Admin Officer (Female)

Summary
- This position is responsible for providing accounting and administrative support to people (staff/client/vendor, etc) throughout the organization.

- Must be a female
- Must have an Accounting background (Not necessarily chartered)
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in an Account/Admin role
- Very good experience of Accounting software packages
- Good use of initiative and Ability to pay attention to details
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Strong ability to analyze, interpret and report financial data
- Experience of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Maintaining and organizing effective electronic and manual filing systems
- Excellent organizational skills, including ability to manage own time and meet deadlines
- Effective listening, written and spoken communication skills

- Responsible for the financial well-being of the company
- Document financial transactions by entering account information.
- Maintain Cash book entries into accounting software such as Sage, SAP etc
- Maintain petty cash
- Provide excellent customer service when dealing with clients
- Manage Social media portal of the Organization
- Maintain close links and inform the Chief Executive of all issues
- Monitor all company properties; ensure all working tools are in good condition
- Ensure things are set up correctly and running at full capacity
- Maintain close links and inform the Chief Executive of all issues
- Coordinate all building facilities management issues, including liaison with landlord/caretaker on maintenance issues.
- Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
- Prepare statutory reports.
- Validate financial reports.
- Provide unbiased advice to staff/ business in regards to spending, saving, investment and all other financial avenues.
- Secure financial information by completing data base backups.
- Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
- Make timely payment of all accounts including supplier invoices, re-imbursement to staff, bank transfers, payroll etc
- Maintain a proper filing system for all transactions, within assigned responsibilities, for audit and accounting purposes
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the CEO.
