The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable candidates for the
position below at the Institute’s Headquarters, Ibadan.

Qualifications and Competencies

• B.Ed/BSc Education
  Minimum of Five (5) years
  relevant experience.

  Competencies 

•  Child-centered
•  Inquiry-based teaching
  knowledge; 
•  Good interpersonal skills and
  well organized.
  Duties report; 
•  Perform any other related duties as
  may be assigned

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will among
other things perform the following duties
and responsibilities:

• Educational Leadership 
•  Maintain a well-ordered teaching
  area; 
•  Responsible for and participate in
  two afternoon clubs; 
•  Follow the timetable as agreed with
  the head; 
•  Ensure compliance with all
  requirements of a class teacher as
  laid down in the ‘Class Teacher Duties report’; 
• Be committed to and promote
  academic excellence; 
•  To provide in-service training as
  required by head;
  Teaching Role 
•  Be responsible for the education and
  welfare of the Grade 4 pupils; 
•  Plan and prepare courses and
  lessons following the programmes in
  place; 
•  Asses, record and report on the
  progress of the pupils;
•  
• Perform any other related duties as
  may be assigned
