University of Calabar – The Bassey Andah Institute for African and Asian Studies, University of Calabar hereby invites interested applicants for admission to pursue a two year programme of studies leading to the award of a Diploma in African and Asian Studies.
Admission Requirements
To quality for admission into the Institute of African and Asian Studies at the University of Calabar, applicants must possess one of the minimum qualifications listed below:
- At least 4 0’evel credit passes, one of which must be English Language at the WAEC/GCE/NECO and/any other Arts or Social Science subject.
- The Teachers’ Grade II Certificate with at least 4 credits at the merit level including English Language.
- One year Certificate in Theatre Studies, Journalism and Mass Communication or related disciplines from recognized Universities, provided the candidate has at least 3 credit passes which must include English.
How to Apply
Interested applicants can obtain admission forms at the Bassey Andah Institute for African and Asian Studies on presentation of a valid Bank draft of N7,000.00 (Seven thousand naira) only from any Commercial Bank made in favour of Centre for Educational Services, University of Calabar.
