Ekiti State University Admission for Masters Degree and Postgraduate Diploma Programmes for 2016/2017

Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, Nigeria hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates into the Professional Master Degree and Postgraduate Diploma programmes for the 2016/2017 Academic Session.

Programmes

• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• Master of Project Management (MPM)
• Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)
• Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing (PGDMKT)
• Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management (PGDPM)

Basic Requirements

• All applicants seeking admission into any of the Master’s Degree and Postgraduate Diploma programmes must have five Credit passes at ‘O’ Level in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings.
• For applicants possessing Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) a minimum of Credit or 60.0 weighted average score is required.
• Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Applicants must possess the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (not below Second Class Lower Division) from a recognized University in any discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree (Third Class) plus Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Management Sciences or cognate fields from a recognized university.
• Higher National Diploma with a minimum of Lower Credit plus PGD from a recognized University.

Master of Project Management (MPM)

• Bachelor’s degree not below Second Class Lower Division from a recognized University in the Social, Arts and Management Sciences.
• Bachelor’s degree (Third Class) plus PGD from recognized University
• Higher National Diploma with a minimum of Lower credit plus PGD in Management Sciences or cognate fields from a recognized university.

Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)

• Bachelor’s degree not below (Third Class) in Management Sciences and related disciplines from a recognized University.
• Bachelor’s degree (with at least Second Class (Honours) Lower Division) in disciplines not related to Management Sciences from a recognized university.
• Higher National Diploma with a minimum of Lower Credit in relevant courses from a recognized institution.

Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing (PGDMKT)

• Bachelor’s degree not below (Third Class) in Social and Management Sciences from a recognized university.
• Bachelor’s degree (with at least Second Class (Honours) Lower Division) in areas not related to Administration from a recognized University.
• Higher National Diploma with a minimum of Lower Credit in relevant courses from a recognized institution.

Postgraduate Diploma in Project (PGDPM)

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of (Third Class) in relevant disciplines.
• Higher National Diploma with a minimum of Lower Credit in relevant disciplines from a recognized institution.

Minimum Duration of Prorammes

• PGD: Two Semesters
• Masters: Four Semesters
