Our Client, a reputable firm in ICT is looking for a reliable candidate for the position of:

Job Title: ICT Engineer

Location: Lagos


Requirements

• University Degree in Computer science or its equivalent from a recorganised university.
• 3-5 years experience in ICT sector.
• Relevant professional certifications is Compulsory.

Responsibilities

• To support surveys exercise, design, installation, service and maintenance of projects within the area of the company’s core business.(Electronic security and telecommunication systems)
• To schedule maintenance and servicing of Electronic security and telecommunication systems.
• Commissioning, migrating and decommissioning of hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
• Performing user management support for user accounts.
• Undertaking routine maintenance and checking of networked workstations and other peripherals.
• To carryout acceptance testing for new ICT equipment
• Installation, configuration and removal of standardized software onto systems as advised by the ICT Manager.
• Accurately recording, administering and managing lifecycle of assets and software licenses through ICT asset management system
• Maintaining ICT knowledge base with system documentation, procedures and help sheets.
• Proactively monitor system security patches and malware updates to ensure correct deployment
• To Proactively administer backup and recovery operations by maintaining and monitoring backup equipment and data.
• Undertaking some web or system development as required
• Analysing backup issues and report findings to ICT Manager
• Routine check of the Server system
• Fixing equipment, including printers and scanners (known as peripherals)
• Setting up new equipment and upgrading existing systems
• Testing and Servicing equipment
• Recording problems and their solutions for future reference
• Training clients/Staff on new systems or software applications.
