1. JOB DESCRIPTION FOR   MATRON  

1. To provide line management and professional leadership for ward managers and specialist nurses/midwives and other staff.
2. To ensure patient/client/carer involvement in development of services and environmental standards.
3. Be visible and accessible to patients, families and carers.
4. To provide specialist education and training to other staff;
5. To ensure compliance with, and develops, policies, procedures and guidelines;
6. Making sure patients get quality care and Ensure that staff is appropriate to patient needs
7. Empowering nurses to take on a wider range of clinical tasks

8. Improving hospital cleanliness and Improving wards for patients

9. Ensuring patients’ nutritional needs are met and Making sure patients are treated with respect

10.Preventing hospital-acquired infection
 

  • Qualification:- BSC or GNM & computer knowledge 
  • Must have experience in ICU,CCU,NICU,DIALYSIS,OT,EMERGENCY/TAUMA/OBG & GYNEO & SURGICAL WARDS.


    Experience :- 10+ years relevant experience
    2. JOB DESCRIPTION FOR NURSING  MANAGER     
      DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  
      1. Reviews day-to-day nursing activities and reports of nursing support activities.
      2. Coordinates and defends budget and manpower requests for the entire nursing service of the Medical Center and monitors performance against approved budget
      3. Develops and implements overall nursing plan consistent with hospital policies and objectives, to provide continuous nursing care and services.
      4. Develops, implements and interprets nursing and patient care policies, objectives and standards for measurement and maintenance of quality nursing care.
      5. Develops, implements and administers nursing services budget and expense control system.
      6. Prepares master nursing services staffing plan.
      7.Organizes, directs and supervises daily nursing service to assure adequate hospital coverage and quality care.
      8. Participates in the development, implementation and maintenance of the hospital quality assurance and improvement program through evaluation of services rendered, quality improvement, audit of medical records, patient visits and counsel with hospital staff.
      9. Maintains communications with medical and administrative staff through participation in regularly scheduled staff meeting and involvement on hospital medical services committees.
      10. Evaluates long and short-range equipment and supply requirements for nursing care by forecasting service levels and quantity of materials on hand.
      11. Directs, plans and implements orientation and educational programs to promote staff training and development.
      12. Recommends and participates in development of new patient care programs for expansion of nursing care services.
      13. Represents hospital in health care programs and professional organizations of associates to serve in a public relations capacity and to stimulate professional growth.
