We’re is looking for a young writer that is excited about the internet, innovation, startups, venture capital and the business of technology in Nigeria and across Africa.
The person must have:
- A strong command of written English
- Curiosity and a strong interest in internet, innovation, startups, venture capital and the business of technology
- Ability to read and understand reports and basic financial documents
- Strong writing skills
- In touch with technology and the internet
- No particular degree experience required

Job Title: Digital Ad Sales Lead
Our digital ad sales lead is responsible for one of the major revenue sources at Big Cabal. The job is two-fold – execute on sales activities and help develop a process for sales. Specifically:
- developing relationships with brands and agencies
- sales of existing ad inventory across platforms
- designing media plans for campaigns in conjunction with internal teams & client
- contributing to the design of new advertising products in conjunction with internal teams
Our sales lead must be an energetic self-starter with a track record of getting things done with little or no supervision. Specifically…
- Must have relationships in the advertising industry
- Experience in digital ad sales is preferable
- Minimum experience is a Bachelor’s degree.

Job Title: Operations & Finance Lead
- This individual will be responsible for handling operational & finance issues
- managing operational issues for the company
- handling basic finance issues and liaising with external accounting & finance teams
- The role is full-time.

Big Cabal is in places intense and in others relaxed. We’re very driven about getting the results we want; the rest isn’t as important.
We’re a very digital company – all our communications are in Slack, we use Google Docs for practically everything and don’t like meetings. Some of our team works remotely. We typically try to arrange work between 9am and 5pm WAT and encourage you to have a good work-life balance but that’s also very flexible.
What we’re not flexible about is quality and results. Get things done well and fast and all is well with the world.
