University of Jos – Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Pre-Degree Science Programme of the University of Jos for the 2016/2017 Academic Session.

Requirements

  • Candidates must possess WASC/SSCE/NECO/GCE ‘O’ LEVEL, or its equivalent with a minimum of five credits (including Mathematics and English) in the following: Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Further Mathematics, Biology or Geography or Technical Drawing, or Fine Art
  • The Pre-Dregree Science course which is strictly for science students is mainly for students of the Catchments States of Plateau, Nasarawa, Niger, Kwara, Benue and Kogi. However, candidates from other States may be considered.

How to Apply

Application forms are available online on the University Website:mis.unijos.edu.ng/forms_application upon payment of the sum of Ten Thousand Naira (N10, 000.00) only through the following procedure:

Stage One

  • log in www.remita.net
  • Click pay Federal Government Agency.
  • Enter University of Jos
  • Select “Remedial Science” as name of service/purpose.
  • Enter the following:
    • Level: 001
    • Amount: N10,000.00
    • Department: Remedial Science
    • Faculty: Natural Sciences
    • Session: 2016
    • Matric/JAMB/Form No: RS2016
    • Payer’s Name:   
    • Payer’s email:    `    `
    • Payer’s Phone NO:

Follow Remita procedure on the site to make payment (choose your preferred payment option i.e ATM mobile wallet etc) and use the RRR number to complete the admission form in stage two.

Stage Two

  • The applicant visits mis.unijos.edu.ng/forms_application
  • The applicant then creates an account using his/her valid email address.
  • The applicant uses the account created to fill the application form online.
  • After filling the online application, the applicant enters details of payment for purchase of the application form which should include:
    • RRR
    • Amount paid
    • Transaction Date
  • The applicant then submits the completed application form online and waits for confirmation SMS and or email for successful application.
  • On receipt of the confirmation SMS and or email, the applicant logs in with his/her account/details to view his/her completed application and print a copy if he/she so wishes.
