Job Description
- We looking to hire a Social Media intern for a 12 month project.
- This person will work closely with the editorial and social teams to increase engagement with Mothers on a variety of topics.
Education and Experience
- Marketing/Business or Language majors, with 2 years of experience on the Web and a solid understanding of motherhood content
- Minimum of 1 years’ blogging focused on nursing mothers experience require.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Extremely Strong Writing and Editing Skills (Journalism or English Major a plus).
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the editorial team on story ideas and content development that will resonate with Mothers by putting it through a social filter at the beginning of the process.
- Working with editors and writers to make their content more sharable, including developing new headlines for social and identifying more captivating images.
- Building on the current social strategy of sharing content and identifying new opportunities for developing a larger motherhood audience. This includes creating social-oriented content on the fly.
- Working with editorial and social teams to initiate special features and packages to help generate more engagement.
