Job Title: Product Merchandiser
Location: Port Harcourt
Job Description 

• Liaising with Merchants, Suppliers and Product Distributors.
• Planning Product Ranges and improvements in conjunction with Suppliers.
• Develop, create and deliver new products.
• Acquiring More Merchants and product suppliers.
• Managing relationship with merchants and suppliers.
• Protects Organizations’ values by keeping information confidential..
• Identify trendsetter products by researching the market and related industry.
• Identify and propose business deals by contacting potential partners.
• Work closely with merchant and suppliers to ascertain price change effects.
• Maintaining active awareness of product changes.
• Researching and predicting market trends.
• Work Closely with Sales Team to develop strategies to promote sales.

Required Competences 

• Strong commercial awareness
• Good decision making skills
• Strong leadership skills and ability to influence others.
• Forecasting ability.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Candidate must be resident in Port Harcourt.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Ability to achieve results while remaining calm under pressure.
• Keen attention to details.
• Qualification and Experience 
  • A Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years experience in a structured driven organization.
  • Experience in FMCG industry will be an advantage.
