Requirements
- A Law Degree with a minimum of Second Class (Upper Division) at the University and Nigerian Law School. (An LL.M. Degree would be an added advantage)
- At least 5 years relevant experience in the legal profession
- Sound knowledge of the law
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills including strong presentation skills
- Effective use of computer systems for the generation of professional reports, and scheduling
- Work etiquette and strong relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good organisational skills and capacity to be detail-oriented
- High level of integrity and professional accountability
Responsibilities
- Drafting and reviewing legal documentation and providing legal advisory service
- Advising on the legal framework for real estate financing with particular focus on capital market related transactions
- Establish and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with clients
- Negotiate effectively on behalf of clients
- Participate in the decision-making processes on a wide range of issues related to the firms activities
Required Attributes:
- Substantial experience in drafting and reviewing legal documentation
- Thorough understanding of corporate and commercial law
- Proactive and independent
- Analytic, reliable, innovative and creative
- Convincing, co-operative and stress-resistant
