Education: B.Sc/HND

Requirements
Investigate and the most appropriate route for a shipment, taking into account the perishable or harzadous nature of goods, cost, transit time and security
Arranging appropriate parking, taking intoo account the climate, terrain, weight, cost and nature of goods and also the delivery and warehousing of goods at their final destination
Negotiating contracts, transportaion and handling costs;
obtaining, checking and preparing documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements, packing specifications, and compliance with other countries regulation and fiscal regimes
Offering consolidation services by air, sead and road, ensuring cost effective and secure solutions to small shippers who have insufficient cargo to require their own dedicated unit
Arranging insurance and assisting the client in the event of a claim;
Offering tailored It solutions and electronic data interchange (EDI) connections
Arranging payment of freight and other charges or collection of payment on behalf of the client;

Maintaing current knowlege of relevant legislation, political suituations and other factors that could affect Tthe movement of freights.
Managing staff and overseeing activities within the department in carrying out the above mentioned responsibilities.

Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor (Cold Chain)
Education: OND/HND/B.Sc
Experience: 2 -3 years relevant experience
Job Responsibilities:
Inspect Import shipments of frozen (Cheese/Butter/Vegetable/Shrimps & Cooking Cream) products to assure compliance with purchase order or packing list specifications; identify and report shortages, damaged goods or other discrepancies.
Modern frozen warehousing and storekeeping procedures including shipping and receiving materials, proper and orderly storage, optimum space utilization and stock inventory procedures.
Execution of Order to all Supermarket & Hypermarket while Supervising, schedule and assign warehouse workers and delivery drivers in making routine supply and special deliveries of frozen by maintaining FEFO to all products, supplies.Dispatch of frozen food items to customers to ensure they get the products they want and need.
Coordinate and participate in inventory and storage functions in frozen warehouse; conduct inventories; request supplies for the frozen stock warehouse as necessary and determine proper location of supplies to allow maximum space utilization.
Supervise and participate in the preparation in return from customers. Maintain a variety of records and reports pertaining to the operation of the frozen warehouse.
Maintain storage areas for surplus materials. Maintain security of food warehouse stock as needed to control loss of inventory.
Ensure proper temperatures in containers and chiller rooms are maintained and temperature logs are maintained Daily/Hourly as per temperature Sheet.
Maintains safe work environment according to all department procedures, federal and state regulations. Wears protective clothing as required for position. Understands and utilizes safe lifting procedures and proper step stools.
Willingness to be open, to learn and take on new responsibilities, Ability to maintain confidentiality, Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies to the Warehouse keeper/Dc Manager.
Knowledge of Product category and storage of product is must.
Job Title: Business Development Manager (Freight Forwarding)
JOB SUMMARY:
To Effectively execute all strategies and tactical marketing efforts to achieve the company’s market share and set goals, objectives and targets.
Education and Experience:
Minimum of first degree/HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Social, Sciences, or any other relevant discipline.
5 years requisite experience
MBA or relevant masters’ degree is required
Roles and Responsibilities
Articulates and coordinates the implementation of business development, marketing policies, strategies and plans to enhance the performance of the company’s service offerings, brand, product/service profitability and improve return on investments
Initiates and co-ordinates development of annual marketing plans and budgets
Leads, performs and coordinates all marketing and business development activities including market research, product development, pricing, sales, advertisement and promotion
Defines marketing objectives for the marketing team, sets performance targets and monitors achievements against set targets.
Formulates and implements pricing and credit policies and programmes to increase profitability, enhance market presence and competitive performance of the company’s service offering.
